Australian singer/songwriter Cody Simpson has lent his support to the United Nations Development Programme's Life Below Water campaign, in celebration of UN World Wildlife Day.

Simpson, who recently spoke about the importance of marine biodiversity at a United Nations conference, said 'Sustainable fish consumption is vital to the future of #LifeBelowWater. Can we in the west avoid seafood and meat consumption whenever possible in an effort to restore balance? We need our oceans to survive, and it is our job to keep them healthy'.
